Deep in the King Country you will find this hidden gem called Couper's Crossing situated behind the Kaitieke War Memorial Monument.

 

The hub of 3 bicycle tracks where you can start or end from plus an extra one for good measure.

As an extra bonus we drop off up to 6 riders at the start of the 42nd Traverse for them to cycle through to Owhango and onto Couper's Crossing

You can also book your shuttle to the famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing for early morning drop off at set times (based on weather and other conditions), and your booking includes pick up at half hour intervals throughout the midday and afternoon. By booking a shuttle through us you can relax knowing that you can focus solely on your hiking experience and making great memories, without having to worry about getting to the mountain and home safely and stress free.

Roll up in your Campervan to a powered site or simply park up in our field to use it as a hub and enjoy the beautiful surroundings with a lovely waterfall and swimming hole at the junction of the Kaitieke Stream and Retaruke River approximately 500 meters from our homestead where you can fish, kayak and relax after a day's cycling.

You are welcome to use our BBQ, Fire Pit and hiker's bathroom plus a few more perks when you come to stay with us.
